This painting is an ode to nights spent sleeping under the stars. The rustle of wind through the trees, the warmth of a sleeping bag, and the endless sprawl of the milky way above makes me feel simultaneously insignificant and also that I am an important part of the wilds. I think it makes you feel human again, after all the busyness of our normal lives.
